  1. The top one reminds me of the Steve Ditko imaginings of otherworldly dimensions in the old “Dr. Strange” comic books, which thrilled me no end. The bottom one seems like Newer Age stained glass. Both are refreshing and alive and fun to view. Thanks for posting them!

    • I love the comments: just love them , because I learn, and today, I am happy I learned about Steve Ditko ( sorry, never had the opportunity to fall in love with comics). I see what you are suggesting: I did study his illustration for a while, and I noticed his use of textures in black and white graphics, and his color illustrations are also very bold and strong. I think, in my work it looks like I took a risk to overload the image with texture and colors. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.:)
