The Chester Cathedral was a great photographic find on my trip to England this summer. Originated in 11th century, the cathedral was modified a lot until sixteen hundreds. Architecturally it represents most of the European medieval styles. The cathedral still serves as a worship place as well as a space for the concerts, exhibitions and community events. The place is grand and exciting for an artistic eye. I imagine the knights in the heavy armors rattling their spurs on the stone floor.
Monuments such as this remain testament to the greatness of man’s peacetime efforts rather than those made engaging in futile wars.
I like how close in this shot is.
Great pictures, you capture the architectural detail really well.
Spectacular place!
