Modern India is colorful and I would say layered. I think the great example is on the fourth picture from the top. That how I understand India now, and I might be mistaken in my opinion, however I based it on what I’ve seen, and what I captured with my camera. India is very rich in traditions, cultural heritage, beautiful architecture from the old times, unique crafts and arts, however I had to learn how to see beyond the poverty, and people living in slams, endless dirt everywhere and tons of plastic covering the whole country. We hear a lot that the country is on economical rise, however it’s obvious that investment into the social life of Indians is almost not existing. At that picture you can see the glimpse of the beautiful temple on the background, some children running around at the time they should be in school, and of cause so loved holy cows nibbling on some garbage on the front ground. That is India as is in 21st century.
Its nice pictures..we have alot of Indian workers in jpn. Its very different when they said it s the city of love
“Layered” is a good word for India. You have caught the atmosphere very well in this series. Tony
never so good behind the facade… There is too much inequality in our world
