The Chester Cathedral was a great photographic find on my trip to England this summer. Originated in 11th century, the cathedral was modified a lot until sixteen hundreds. Architecturally it represents most of the European medieval styles. The cathedral still serves as a worship place as well as a space for the concerts, exhibitions and community events. The place is grand and exciting for an artistic eye. I imagine the knights in the heavy armors rattling their spurs on the stone floor.

All the detailing is amazing. I bet they have a lovely old pipe organ there too.
