Khajuraho Group of Monuments is protected by UNESCO, and that the reason it’s in very neat condition right now. It’s a must-see place in India. One can spend whole day here studying the amazing carvings telling and illustrating stories from Kama Sutra. The group of medieval hindu temples was made out of the sand stone with use of a unique mortise and tenon joints and they held together by gravity.
I’d never seen this site before; perhaps not something advertised to westerners? Beautiful work as usual, Natalia.
Stunning… Again, such phenomenal works and photo captures!!
It’s really awesome how Indians are dedicated to maintain such magnificent symbols of their history and culture. Those have been standing there for hundreds of years or even more.
