Streets shots are essential for me when I travel to a new destination in the world. People are different and the same everywhere. I love to take the pictures of the “unpolished” people, the real people in their natural environment. All characters are unique and special for me. I think I can create a little story based on each picture.
I spent a few occasions by the Stupa, and every time I loved to take pictures of variety of details which were the real treasures for me. I appreciate the architecture , the symbolism and all that amazing environment by these Buddhists temples. Here I am presenting some of the wonderful treasures from a couple of Stupas in Kathmandu.
Here I would love to present my painting series I’ve done awhile ago. I started to make a collection of different type of masks after visiting the Natural History Museum in NYC, after my trip to Arizona and Nevada, as well as collecting the images of folk art from Peru and Mexico. I studied some African masks as well, and here are a few mixed media and acrylics of my studies. I got influence of colors , shapes and proportions practically at any place I went and observed.
