I love traveling around the world, however I have to admit that I find a lot of joy in photographing places near by home, for instance Seven Lakes Park. We love to go there for a short hiking adventures. I have a series oh photographs which make pretty strong statements with quiet colors. I shorten the series for this blog, but was thinking of creating the nice meditational music background for the whole collection.

Initially, I dedicated this blog to my travel photography, however as time was passing by I realized that all my interests in life are connected, interchangeable and overlapping. My major in school was Textile Design for a reason: I always was hunting for colors and textures, for new patterns and unique folk designs. I think these interests got projected onto my photography. Photography gave me the opportunity to capture and later on analyze much wider variety of designs and form representations. I found a lot of inspiration in the designs I collected around the word and I try to implement them in my original artwork. I’ll be happy if some of you will find the connections or make your own.
If you would like to purchase my images for any type of publishing or personal use please contact me via e-mail natmaks@gmail.com and I gladly assist you. All images are very high-resolution and can be printed with ideal quality on metal, bamboo or acrylic up to 45″X70″. Enjoy!

I think it’s just a beginning of a huge collection of photographed flowers. I love to take the pictures of the flowers for a lot of reasons; they are just simply beautiful ( no one can deny it) and they are perfect models( not running away from you, not complaining of being tired posing for you, etc.). I can stop in the middle of the street staring at the bright colors or a new texture of never seen before flower. I even don’t want to bring all of them to my home, but surely I alway want to keep them in my image collection. As Valentine’s Day approaching very rapidly, we all need to think what is the favorite flower of our loved one. Roses are always gorgeous, but… overrated. Try to make this time some creative choices.
