Visiting Varanasi was one of the most eventful experience. People from all over the world coming to this holiest of the seven sacred cities in Hinduism. Varanasi has two additional names: Banaras and Kashi. Death in Kashi is a happiest possible ending of someone’s life. Varanasi is a spiritual and religious center of India. We had the opportunity to go to the bank of Ganga on one evening, take a boat ride, light the candles and send them flow in the water, see the most famous crematorium from a distance, observe the religious ceremony performed by the young priests,  and see so many visitors who were watching the ceremony from the boats and the steps near the river.

India. Varanasi. Around 5:15AM. I was heading to Ganga( Ganges) river to observe the morning bathing routines and a beautiful sunrise. On my way, I saw so many people sleeping on the streets right on the vendors’ counters, on the curbs, and here, you can see ( in the States we would say “unsupervised”) 5-6 years old child sleeping alone on the rickshaw’s cart.
