The goal of this project was to show the remains of this dead flower still tell the stories of its blossom history like in the wrinkles of the senior I can read the active and exciting past.
I designed a few New York posters based on my original photos I took at Times Square this March. I applied different technique using Adobe Photoshop.
Here is my original poster I created after taking a few photo shots at the Times Square before attending a new play “Orphans” with Ben Foster, Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge.

Initially, I dedicated this blog to my travel photography, however as time was passing by I realized that all my interests in life are connected, interchangeable and overlapping. My major in school was Textile Design for a reason: I always was hunting for colors and textures, for new patterns and unique folk designs. I think these interests got projected onto my photography. Photography gave me the opportunity to capture and later on analyze much wider variety of designs and form representations. I found a lot of inspiration in the designs I collected around the word and I try to implement them in my original artwork. I’ll be happy if some of you will find the connections or make your own.

I used a few photos as parts of a whole work: the background is the saturated picture of the reflected stained glass window, the old Victorian building silhouette is filled with my original corn pattern. I few birds flew into the design from a photo shot I made once in a park. I mixed and edited everything in Photoshop. I called it “Visiting”.
I am a passionate observer who likes to collect the moments and the looks.
