Peruvian Fairy Tale.
A tale is sewn from the narrative threads
That are strung to form colorful scraps of events
My picture is full of exciting visuals
I hope the tale ends happily ever after
Initially, I dedicated this blog to my travel photography, however as time was passing by I realized that all my interests in life are connected, interchangeable and overlapping. My major in school was textile design for a reason: I always was hunting for colors and textures, for new patterns and unique designs. I think these interests got projected onto my art. Photography gave me the opportunity to capture a lot of images, and later on I analyze them, edit, modify and/or use them as a prototype for the original art. I found a lot of inspiration in the looks(designs) I collected around the word and I try to implement them in my artwork. I’ll be happy if some of you will find the connections or make your own.
As I mentioned in ” About Me” I have ton of photo-pictures from my travels and my local experiments with my camera, however I created a lot of graphics throughout the years of my travels and my searches for interesting patterns and textures. Primarily, I focus in my work on color combinations, variation in rhythms, patterns, and textures. Media of the examples below is Ink and Pen, Tempera and Watercolors on Paper.
