India. Another Holy Man.
The hotel in Jaipur was gorgeous: beautiful interiors, some authentic touches in the design and the appearance of all staff. That bellhop explained to me that he grew his sideburns 14 years to fit into the role. I bet the grooming takes him awhile: he needs to roll them up and fix them on his cheeks secure with some hair pins. However, right across the street of our hotel I observe totally different environment.
We are surrounded with textures. I was fascinated by the unique designs created by water streams on the sandy beach in Costa Rica. Every angle I look I found a new interesting pattern of water and sand. The lower layers of sand were darker colors and the top layers were much lighter. When the stream made its way to the ocean, water carved a natural design with unique repetitions of dark and light sand.
